A public safety message warned that temperatures inside a vehicle can rise dangerously fast and urged people to never leave children, pets or vulnerable adults inside, saying, “Stop. Look. Lock.”
“A simple check can save a life,” the message said.
The message included the hashtags #HeatstrokePrevention, #StopLookLock and #Mississippi.
The message did not identify an issuing agency or provide additional guidance.
