MEMA: Disaster assistance centers to close May 9, reopen May 11

The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) said Disaster Survivor Assistance Centers in multiple counties will close Saturday, May 9 at 2:00 p.m. and that other centers will reopen Monday, May 11 at 8:00 a.m.

MEMA said the centers closing Saturday are in Attala, Lee, Marshall, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Tippah and Union counties.

The agency said centers will open Monday in Carroll, Coahoma, Grenada, Holmes, Montgomery, Quitman, Tallahatchie, Tunica and Yalobusha counties.

MEMA said Disaster Recovery Centers in Alcorn, Benton, Lafayette, Leflore, Panola and Yazoo counties remain open.
