A radar update at 8:20 p.m. said showers and thunderstorms continued, with flash flood warnings in effect.
The update said there was a chance for a secondary round of showers and thunderstorms overnight, though the severe weather threat was diminishing after sunset.
The message urged residents to remain weather aware.
The update included hashtags referencing Arkansas, Missouri, Mississippi and Tennessee.
