S. Lamar Boulevard bridge in Oxford closed through Sept. 15, MDOT says

The Mississippi Department of Transportation said the S. Lamar Boulevard bridge over State Route 6 in Oxford, Mississippi, is closed for repairs through Saturday, Sept. 15.

MDOT said the closure is for bridge repair and that signage will be in place to advise motorists of the closure.

MDOT advised motorists to slow down and be on high alert for roadside crews.

MDOT posted the advisory on its website for additional details, the agency said.
