Ripley to hold fireworks Friday to mark nation’s 250th birthday

The city of Ripley said it will hold a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. Friday, June 26, to mark the nation’s 250th birthday.

City officials said the fireworks will be launched near Ripley High School and should be visible from most locations in the southern part of town.

The city invited residents and visitors to attend the event, the announcement said.
