First Circuit District Attorney’s Office urges remembrance of fallen Northeast Mississippi officers
The First Circuit District Attorney’s Office urged residents to remember fallen Northeast Mississippi peace officers on Peace Officers Memorial Day, May 15, 2026, the office said in a social media post.
The post thanked officers and their families and said their sacrifice “is remembered and honored today and always,” the office said.
The office said the Northeast Mississippi Line of Duty Memorial event was held in Amory on May 7, 2026, and described the ceremony as “well-attended and beautifully conducted,” honoring the families, friends and agencies of the fallen officers.
The post included a list of the officers remembered during the event and used the hashtags #RememberAndHonor and #SacrificeInBlue, the office said, and asked the public to join in remembrance.
