Tupelo man arrested on felony credit card fraud charge
Rytavious A. Isby, 23, of Tupelo was arrested April 26 and charged with one count of felony credit card fraud, the Tupelo Police Department said. Tupelo Municipal Court records show Judge Allen ordered him held on a $5,000 bond on April 28.
The department said the case began after a report was filed April 9 alleging a victim’s credit card was used without permission at a business in Tupelo. Police said the card had been stolen during a vehicle burglary in another jurisdiction.
Police said Isby was arrested following further investigation. The department said the case will be presented to the Lee County grand jury.
The Tupelo Police Department also said separate charges related to the incident are pending in a neighboring jurisdiction.
