The Tupelo Police Department said in a social media post that it hosted North Pontotoc Schools’ high school and middle school Life Skills classes for a visit to the department.
The post said students watched a live drone demonstration by the department’s drone unit.
Students also received a tour of the Criminal Investigation Division to learn more about the work officers and detectives perform, the department said.
The department thanked the students, teachers and staff for taking the time to visit.
