Three officers from the Tupelo Police Department represented the agency at UAM Aviation Day this past weekend, the department said.
Sergeant Parker, Officer McKinney and Corporal Miller showcased the department’s drone program and conducted flight demonstrations, the department said.
The department said the demonstrations were intended to educate the public on the drones’ capabilities and the ways the technology is used to support public safety.
The Tupelo Police Department thanked UAM for hosting the event and people who stopped by to learn about the program, the department said.
