Upper-level disturbance raises rain, storm chances in Mid-South

Meteorologists say an upper-level disturbance will increase the chances of showers and thunderstorms across the Mid-South late Wednesday into Thursday.

Forecasters said a cold front this weekend will bring a second round of showers and storms across the region.

Meteorologists warned that expected precipitation amounts are likely to be small and will provide little to no relief to current drought conditions.
