25,000 in Madison County Under Boil Water Notice

The Mississippi State Department of Health issued a boil water notice for around 25,000 residents in Madison County.

The affected 24,671 customers come from the Bear Creek Water Association, which is west of Highway 55.

The notice comes due to possible presence of E. coli in the water. Residents are advised to boil their water for at least one minute for at least the next two days.
