We have obtained video from inside the north MS prison where a correctional officer was severely beaten and a fire started inside the facility yesterday.
The guard was airlifted to Regional One hospital after being attacked by inmates at the Marshall County Correctional Facility. He is now listed as in stable condition.
A fire was started by inmates, and the guard was attacked the the head area. See video below.
