How to apply: $240 million grant program in Mississippi goes live tomorrow

The Back to Business grant program for small businesses in Mississippi is set to go live tomorrow according to a press release from the Governor on Wednesday.

The back to business grant will be used to help businesses in Mississippi with 50 or fewer employees recover from the economic impact of COVID-19, including operating expenses and salaries.

The funding is provided from the CARES Act and allows for businesses to recoup up to $25,000 in expenses.

The grant program is funded with $240 million. Forty million dollars has been set aside for minority and women owned businesses in Mississippi.

Businesses can qualify for a grant for rent, utilities, supplies and more directly related to COVID19.

The site is set to go live tomorrow, June 11th.
