Polish & Petals Opens in Ripley on City Avenue North

A new business that combines nail care, flowers and event planning has opened its doors in Ripley. Polish & Petals Ripley announced on Tuesday, Nov. 3, that it is officially open at 1703 City Avenue North, Suite C, and is now taking both walk-ins and appointments.

Ripley Main Street shared the news on its Facebook page Wednesday and told followers it is “so excited about this new business!”

What Polish & Petals Ripley Offers

On its Facebook page, the business describes itself as “curated to make beautiful events, nails & florals.” It is listed as an event planner, so the shop brings three services under one roof:

  • Nails: Walk-ins and scheduled appointments are welcome.
  • Florals: Flower arrangements are part of the business’s lineup.
  • Events: Planning and design help for special occasions.

That mix could be handy heading into the holiday season, when parties, church events, family gatherings and winter weddings fill the calendar.

In its opening post, the business thanked everyone who supported, encouraged, prayed for and helped make the dream happen. The post called the opening the start of a new chapter and ended with “Now let’s get to work!”

Where to Find It

  • Address: 1703 City Avenue North, Suite C, Ripley, MS 38663
  • Service: Walk-ins and appointments
  • Online: Search “Polish & Petals” on Facebook for updates and booking information

City Avenue North is part of Mississippi Highway 15, one of Ripley’s main shopping corridors, so the shop is an easy stop for anyone running errands in town. The business has not posted regular hours on its Facebook page yet, so customers may want to message ahead before stopping by.

A Busy Stretch for New Ripley Businesses

Polish & Petals is the second new Ripley business to open in less than a week. Brown & Covington, a downtown shop featuring local makers, workshops and gelato, opened Nov. 1 during the Ripley Main Street Holiday Open House.

Ripley Main Street Association works to renovate, revitalize and restore Ripley’s historic downtown, and it often uses its Facebook page to celebrate new and growing local businesses across the city. With the holiday shopping season starting, the group has been encouraging residents to shop local and support small businesses in Tippah County.
