Man fatally shot after Forest Hill Drive shooting, police say

A man was shot and later died at a Jackson hospital after a shooting believed to have occurred July 12 in the 100 block of Forest Hill Drive, Jackson police said.

Officers responded to a local hospital about 3 p.m. after receiving information that a man had been transported to the facility, police said.

Jackson police are investigating the incident, WJTV reported.
