Jackson police are investigating after a man was found dead in a ditch, investigators said.
Deputies responded to a home in the 2700 block of Pine Tree Drive just before 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 6 in reference to an aggravated assault, investigators said.
When officers arrived, they located a man deceased in a nearby ditch, investigators said.
Investigators did not immediately provide further details about the man’s identity or the cause of death. The investigation remains active, investigators said.
