Person fatally shot at Wiggins water park

WIGGINS, Miss. — Wiggins police are investigating after a person was found with a gunshot wound to the head at Flint Creek Water Park and later died, police told WHLT.

Officers responded to the park just before 1:30 a.m. on May 9, 2026, Wiggins police said.

The victim has not been identified, according to Wiggins police.

Wiggins police did not immediately release further details, WHLT reported.
