MDOT says Hurricane Isaias may bring high winds, debris and flash flooding to south Mississippi starting Oct. 9
South Mississippi could see high winds, debris and flash flooding starting the night of Oct. 9, 2026, the Mississippi Department of Transportation said.
MDOT posted on Facebook Oct. 9, 2026 that it was sharing the National Hurricane Center’s Oct. 9 afternoon update on Hurricane Isaias and warned of possible impacts across south Mississippi and other portions of the state.
