John Bolton, a former White House national security adviser, on Thursday urged President Donald Trump to end the U.S. ceasefire with Iran.
Bolton told Bloomberg’s Tyler Kendall that negotiating with Iran is futile. “Well, I think it’s a waste of oxygen to negotiate with the Iranians,” Bolton said. “I don’t think they’re ever going to come up with something that we should find satisfactory.”
His comments come amid ongoing tensions between the United States and Iran, with Bolton expressing skepticism about the prospects of reaching a deal with Tehran.
