Interior Department investigating vandalism at World War II Memorial
The Interior Department said it is investigating vandalism at the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C., after officials found brightly colored graffiti and soap bubbles filling the memorial’s fountain, a department spokesperson said.
A department spokesperson said the U.S. Park Police were on the scene and investigating the incident.
The spokesperson said vandals had used neon orange, pink and green graffiti and that investigators were working to determine what happened, the spokesperson said.
