NASA astronaut Mike Fincke retires after 549 days in space

Mike Fincke retired Wednesday, NASA announced, after accumulating 549 days in space — the fourth-highest total among NASA astronauts, the agency said.

Fincke flew four missions with the agency and logged more than 48 hours of spacewalks, NASA said.
