Sen. Chuck Grassley said Monday on the social platform X that he invited former special counsel Jack Smith to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Sept. 22.
Grassley, R-Iowa, chairs the committee. He posted the notice Monday on X.
Jack Smith has served as a special counsel, according to public records and previous reporting.
