Trump administration to end $45 million HIV aid to Namibia

The Trump administration announced it will end $45 million in support for Namibia’s HIV response program, providing a final $45 million payment in the 2027 fiscal year, according to a Friday joint statement.

The funding has been provided annually for two decades, the statement said.

“This support will transition into a technical cooperation model,” the Friday joint statement said.
