President Donald Trump announced on social media that a not-yet-finalized deal with Iran and plans to reopen the Strait of Hormuz are “largely negotiated,” he said.
Trump made the announcement after talks with Israel and other allies, according to his post.
He said the agreement is intended to end the war and includes a two-month negotiation period focused on Iran’s nuclear program, he added.
Trump characterized the agreement as unfinalized and did not provide further details in the post.
