According to the Ashland athletic director:

Attention Ashland High Alumni….

Let us first say that we are Sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused but we wanted to check all avenues before making a decision, the executive decision has been made to postpone the homecoming festivities that were scheduled for Friday! Due to the possibility of heavy rain and or thunderstorms.

The new tentative date has been rescheduled for Friday Oct. 5th. We took into consideration the Facebook post and the votes calculated from the poll that was on our official Ashland High Facebook page. Please understand we cannot predict the weather as the raiments from a hurricane are unpredictable. We tried to make the best decision for all parties involved. Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience and hope that you all show up full force Oct. 5th…..

Also, the actual football game will be a game time decision. Information will be released at noon Friday. So as of now the game is still on.

Go Blue Devils
