Part of Highway 4 in Tippah County being closed due to road failure from recent flooding
Part of Highway 4 in Tippah County is being closed due to the road failing because of the recent floods according to MDOT.
From MDOT:
State Route 4 in Tippah County approximately 4 miles west of Jumpertown will be closed.
WHY: Due to slope/roadway failure from recent flooding the eastbound lane is closed for approximately 0.2 miles.
HOW: Traffic will be reduced to one lane in this 0.2 mi location and portable traffic signals will be in place to control traffic in this section.
