Ripley Main Street Raffle Tickets on Sale Through Oct. 30
The Ripley Main Street raffle is underway, and there are only a few days left to buy a ticket. The Ripley Main Street Association is selling chances to win up to $500 in cash and a long list of prizes from local businesses, with money raised going to downtown beautification projects. Ticket sales end Friday, Oct. 30, at 5 p.m.
Tickets cost $5 each or five for $20. They are sold online through the association’s fundraising page on SeeMyLegacy, linked from the Ripley Main Street Facebook page.
Ripley Main Street Raffle Prizes
Along with cash prizes, the association listed these donated items:
- A Yeti cooler with accessories from Alfa
- Two steaks from Freemans & Co.
- A $75 oil change from Ford Place

Farm Bureau, CB&S Bank and West Glass are sponsoring the cash prizes. Chickasaw Equipment is also among the businesses that donated items, and the association thanked each donor by name.
Winners Drawn During Spirit of Ripley
Winners will be announced every 30 minutes during the Spirit of Ripley Festival on Friday evening, Oct. 30, in historic downtown Ripley. The festival starts at 5:30 p.m. and includes a chili cookoff and Spirit Booths run by local businesses, churches, clubs and teams.
Ticket holders do not have to be at the festival to win, according to Ripley Main Street.
Supporting Downtown Ripley
Ripley Main Street is a nonprofit that works to renovate, revitalize and restore the historic downtown district around the Tippah County Courthouse square. Its fundraisers pay for projects that make downtown more inviting for shoppers and visitors.
The group’s next big event comes two days after the festival: the Ripley Main Street Holiday Open House on Sunday, Nov. 1, from noon to 4 p.m., with downtown shopping and pop-up shops at The Cut-Off.
Fundraisers like the raffle help pay for things visitors notice on the square, from seasonal decorations to plantings and other improvements that support the shops and restaurants downtown. Buying a ticket is one way to back those efforts even for people who can’t make it to the festival Friday night.
Questions about the raffle can go to Ripley Main Street at ripleymainstreet@gmail.com or through its office at 111 E. Spring St.
