South Tippah has Teacher Response Team training to help stop school violence
The South Tippah School District trained a group of teachers as their Teacher Response Team with a training on Monday, July 18th.
From the School District:
The South Tippah School District is putting safety first by having the Buse Education Services train a select group of teachers to be a part of our new Teacher Response Teams!
Our goal in this training is to prevent school violence from happening, Tony Elliott, Superintendent.
From Buse Educaton Services:
“Providing teachers with the confidence and skills to intervene in and deescalate potentially harmful situations is of vital importance.”
The training lasts approximately 5 hours.
