Tippah County resident charged with murder in Cordova man’s death
In a tragic incident on the evening of July 4th, a man lost his life in Cordova following a shooting. The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office reported that the incident occurred at approximately 6:45 p.m. on Breezy Valley Drive in Cordova.
The victim, identified as 36-year-old Emmanuel Manzano, was rushed to Region One Medical Center. Sadly, the authorities confirmed his death shortly after his arrival.
Following their investigation, detectives arrested and charged Melissa Rolison, aged 30, with second-degree murder in connection with the shooting. The circumstances surrounding the incident and the relationship between the victim and the suspect have not been disclosed at this time. Rolison’s last publicly available address is in Blue Mountain.
