Four Middleton Football Players Named to All-Star Game
Four Middleton football players have earned a spot in one of West Tennessee’s biggest showcases for young talent. Middleton Middle School eighth-graders Jermiah Hoyle, Jaxin Maners, Caleb Pattetson and Orlando Perry were selected for the 11th Annual Middle School All-Star Football Game, set for Saturday, Nov. 7, in Jackson.
The all-star game brings together eighth-grade players from schools across West Tennessee who stood out during the season. For a small school like Middleton, just across the state line from Walnut, sending four players to the same all-star roster is a notable honor for the program and the community.
Meet the Middleton Football All-Stars
According to The Magnolia Post, the four Middleton Middle School players chosen for the game are:
- Jermiah Hoyle (No. 90)
- Jaxin Maners (No. 52)
- Caleb Pattetson (No. 28)
- Orlando Perry (No. 7)
Players are picked for the game based on their work and talent over the course of the season. The selection gives the eighth-graders a chance to line up alongside, and against, some of the best middle school players in the region before they move up to the high school level at Middleton High School.
All-Star Game Date, Time and Location
Families and fans who want to watch the Middleton football players compete can plan for the following:
- Event: 11th Annual Middle School All-Star Football Game
- Date: Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026
- Time: 6 p.m.
- Location: Liberty Tech High School, 3470 Ridgecrest Road Extension, Jackson, Tenn.
Jackson is roughly an hour’s drive north of Middleton, making the trip manageable for families and supporters from Hardeman County and the Walnut and Tippah County area who follow Middleton athletics.
A Strong Fall for Middleton Athletics
The all-star honor caps a busy fall for Middleton sports. The Middleton High School Lady Tigers volleyball team won district, regional and sectional titles this season and returned to the TSSAA state tournament for the first time in 12 years before their run ended in the consolation bracket against Halls.
Middle school all-star games like this one often serve as an early look at the players who will carry high school programs in the years ahead. For Middleton, Hoyle, Maners, Pattetson and Perry will now get that spotlight in front of coaches and fans from across West Tennessee.
Tippah News congratulates the four players, their families and their coaches. If you have photos or results from the Nov. 7 game, share them with us so we can follow up on how the Middleton players fared.
