The Mississippi Department of Transportation said June 15 is the last day to submit traffic-safety messages for digital highway signs that will run July 1-5 in celebration of the nation’s 250th anniversary.

Members of the Mississippi Department of Public Safety signed a vehicle at department headquarters in support of Wounded Warriors of Mississippi, the agency said. The vehicle will be auctioned, with proceeds benefiting organizations that serve veterans and their families.
