Tupelo police say Edwin Abraham Cardenas Figuera was arrested in Bentonville and extradited to Mississippi on an attempted grand larceny charge.

Kiantae J. Fair, 28, was arrested April 9 and charged with one count of cyberstalking after a victim reported weeks of online harassment, the Tupelo Police Department said.

Tupelo police say officers responding to shots fired on April 12 found a person with a gunshot wound to the leg. A 17-year-old was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

Tupelo Police Department said one adult was shot in the 400 block of North Green Street and taken to North Mississippi Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers said the incident appears isolated and the street was closed while detectives processed the scene.
