Northeast said it received the 2026 Engineering Excellence Honor Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Mississippi for work by Cook Coggin Engineers on the NEMCC Football Field Resurfacing Project.
The college said the award highlights the quality and care invested in campus projects. Northeast attributed the recognition to the work of Cook Coggin Engineers on the resurfacing effort.
Northeast thanked Kent Geno, president of Cook Coggin Engineers, for his continued partnership, vision and support, saying his dedication helped enhance the campus and create spaces where students can succeed.
The school said partnerships like the one with Cook Coggin Engineers help Northeast grow stronger by building facilities and supporting student success.
