Rebecca Elliott has been named this month’s Northeast Way Award recipient, Northeast said. The award recognizes employees who go above and beyond to support students and create a positive, caring experience, the organization said.
One student said Elliott “went out of her way to make sure I understood the material she covered, even if it meant she had to set time aside to go over that material again.”
Another student said Elliott’s support does not end when class does. “You can message her day or night and she will get back with you and answer any questions or concerns you have,” the student said.
A student called her “a wonderful teacher” with “a heart of gold.” Northeast congratulated Elliott and thanked her for the care, dedication and encouragement she gives to students every day, the organization said.
