Cold front approaches late tonight; low severe-storm chance in parts of Arkansas, Missouri and Tennessee

A cold front will approach the region late tonight, forecasters said.

They said there is a low — less than 20 percent — chance of isolated severe storms in northeast Arkansas, the Missouri Bootheel and extreme northwest Tennessee between midnight and 4 a.m.

Forecasters urged residents to stay weather aware.
