Forecasters say a low-to-medium chance of severe storms exists across eastern Arkansas, the Missouri Bootheel and West Tennessee, with damaging wind gusts the main threat.
They said multiple rounds of severe weather are possible. The first round is expected Saturday afternoon and evening, followed by a second round overnight Saturday into early Sunday morning.
Forecasters identified damaging wind gusts as the primary concern for the area. They did not specify other hazards.
Officials urged residents to stay weather aware and monitor local forecasts for updates, forecasters said.
