FEMA to reopen Mississippi disaster centers Tuesday at noon

The Federal Emergency Management Agency said its Disaster Recovery Centers for Tropical Storm Arthur (June 18-20, 2026), declaration DR-4930-MS, will reopen Tuesday, Sept. 8, at noon.

The centers are located in Hancock, Harrison, Pearl River and Stone counties, FEMA said.

FEMA said residents do not have to visit a center to apply for assistance. Individuals can apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov, by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or by using the FEMA app.
