First Baptist Church of Ripley announced plans for an evening celebration called 250 Years of Freedom, the church said.
The event will feature family activities and food and will include live bluegrass music, games, a cake walk, a water slide and a fireworks show after dark, the church said.
The church said a flyer contains full details and event information.
The church encouraged the public to make plans to attend, the announcement said.
