Forecasters: Radar Circles Signal Precipitation Aloft; Sprinkles Possible North of I-40
Forecasters say radar returns resembling a circle around a radar usually indicate precipitation is not reaching the ground.
They said that as the morning progresses, dry air beneath the clouds may begin to saturate, allowing a few sprinkles to reach the surface.
Forecasters said areas north of I-40 have the best chance for those sprinkles.
They added that northeast Arkansas could see light measurable rainfall by midday.
