A Heat Advisory is in effect Saturday for western portions of the Mid-South, the advisory said.
High temperatures are expected to reach the mid-90s, and intense humidity will push heat index values to between 105 and 108 degrees Fahrenheit, the advisory said.
Those without access to adequate cooling face the highest risk of heat-related illness, the advisory said.
