Heavy downpours, lightning reported in Mid-South; warm front to move north

KNQA posted images at 4:42 a.m. showing heavy downpours and some lightning in the Mid-South, the station said.

“Nothing too concerning at this time,” KNQA said, adding the activity consisted mainly of heavy rain and a little lightning.

The National Weather Service in Memphis said a warm front shown on its surface analysis would continue moving north through the day.
