HRRR model forecasts strongest storms early along, west of Mississippi River

The HRRR model forecasts the strongest storms will occur along and west of the Mississippi River early this afternoon, the model shows.

As the system moves into the evening hours, the storms are expected to weaken, according to the HRRR model.

Rain associated with the system is likely to persist into Wednesday morning, the HRRR model indicates.
