Man arrested after armed attempt to enter Tupelo home, police say
Tupelo police arrested Clarence C. Lee, 42, of Tupelo, on July 2, 2026, charging him with burglary of a dwelling after an armed individual attempted to enter a home on Elderberry Street, the Tupelo Police Department said.
The department said a report of the incident was filed July 2 and investigators later arrested Lee the same day following further investigation.
Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir ordered Lee held on a $75,000 bond, the department said.
The department said the case will be presented to the Lee County grand jury.
