Tupelo man arrested in three gas station burglaries, police say
The Tupelo Police Department said Jonathan Gritzman, 26, of Tupelo, was arrested Aug. 5 and charged with three counts of burglary of a commercial building in connection with burglaries at Eagle Gas Station, 2831 South Eason Blvd.
Investigators said the department had been probing three separate break-ins at the business since mid-July. Store personnel reported that in each incident the business had been broken into and multiple items were stolen, the department said.
Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen ordered Gritzman held on a $30,000 bond on Aug. 6, the department said.
The Tupelo Police Department said the burglary charges will be presented to the Lee County grand jury.
