MEMA: Mississippi disaster service centers in three counties to close Friday

The Disaster Service Centers in Franklin, Lawrence and Lincoln counties will close at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, 2026, the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency said.

The agency said the center in Wilkinson County will remain open. MEMA said people do not have to visit a center to apply for assistance.

MEMA said applicants can apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov, through the FEMA app or by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362).
