The Mississippi Department of Public Safety and Mississippi Capitol Police announced they will host National Night Out in Jackson to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve, the agencies said.
The event is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Stadium, 2531 N. State St., in Jackson, the agencies said.
The agencies invited residents to meet the men and women who serve their communities and to spend an evening with neighbors, the statement said.
The Mississippi Department of Public Safety and Mississippi Capitol Police encouraged community members to attend the event, the agencies said.
