The department posted photos featuring red, white, and blue symbols of American patriotism. They extended best wishes for a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July weekend to residents across the state.
MDPS also emphasized the importance of safety during the holiday, encouraging drivers to be cautious and responsible while celebrating. The message was accompanied by hashtags including #Mississippi, #lawenforcement, #4thofJuly, and #drivesafe.
