The Mississippi Department of Transportation said it is hiring for two transportation maintenance positions, with application deadlines of Sept. 9 and Sept. 10.
The agency posted openings for a transportation infrastructure maintenance technician supervisor in DeSoto County and a transportation infrastructure maintenance technician team lead in Panola County, the department said.
Applicants were directed to apply online. The department provided links to the job listings: https://bit.ly/4gD6kLy for the DeSoto County supervisor position and https://bit.ly/46CRoXQ for the Panola County team lead, the post said.
The department posted the notices on social media and encouraged applicants by saying, “Now is a great time to join Team MDOT!” The post also included the hashtags #NowHiring and #WorkAtTheDOT, the department said.
