The Mississippi Department of Transportation highlighted Program Specialist Team Leader Wesley ‘Eric’ Bowen in a ‘Worker Wednesday’ post. MDOT said he joined the agency in June 2025.
MDOT said Bowen previously worked in the Local Public Agencies Division and now serves in the Central Services Division in Jackson. The department said he handles purchases and procurement that support its work across the state.
MDOT said Bowen spent 23 years with Simpson County before joining the department and that he brought “a wealth of public service experience” to his role.
The department said it appreciates Bowen’s dedication and the work he does behind the scenes.
