The Mississippi Highway Patrol said it is recruiting candidates for its next class of troopers and set an application deadline for Saturday, Aug. 29.
The agency said it is seeking candidates “ready to serve, lead and make a difference” across the state and is recruiting for Trooper Class 71.
Applicants were directed to apply online at the Mississippi Department of Public Safety website, dps.ms.gov, the patrol said.
The patrol urged interested applicants to submit materials before the deadline and said additional requirements and application details are available on the department’s website.
