Mississippi Highway Patrol Sees Surge in Cadet Class 71 Applications, Offers PT Guidance

The Mississippi Highway Patrol said it has received a large number of applications for Cadet Class 71 and is preparing candidates for the next steps.

The agency said Sedrick “Action” Jackson demonstrates proper push-up technique and resting positions required during the cadet physical training exam.

The Patrol said the guidance is intended to help applicants improve their performance on the PT exam. It said the demonstration covers correct form and appropriate rest positions.

The agency said a little preparation now can make a big difference for those seeking to join Cadet Class 71.
